After a very thrilling and fun weekend in cool 85-degree weather Long Beach, we’re back in hot 101-degree Austin. First and foremost, thanks very much to our very awesome team for not only flying out and racing, but really truly showing up and paddling their hearts out. For a team of people that have never raced together, we went beyond expectations. Also, thanks to our host team, LA Thunder Dragons, for being such wonderful tent neighbors, feeding us and dancing with our newest recruit, “JoJo.” And of course, thanks to our old teammate Tammy for breaking her body to return to paddling, Jane from Canada and Jeff G. from Houston Heat for crossing over to our side and being a great motivator, steerer and coach to us! We’ll see you again in October in Houston.
